My Life Now

My name is Julia, and this is my life now.

25. Single. Beautician.

Proud mom of Felix and Vincent.

Ask me anything

One more semester of cosmetology school

Then I immediately start the pre-med biology track at the local Uni.
I’m excited and ready to bust my ass for what I want.

I got a 94 on my practice state board exam today

I don’t know why I stress myself so much. The next highest grade was an 84.

Single mommy/student problems

It’s impossible to work on the project that counts as 15% of my grade. It’s impossible to study for the test that’s worth 15% of my grade. It’s 100 questions randomly pulled from 900 pages, with 60 minutes to complete. Oh, and I have another test due online tonight that covers half of the textbook, 100 questions in 60 minutes. It’s online, so I can use my textbook.
My head is pounding, and my baby boos won’t give me an hour of piece.
I think I’m going to see if my parents can hang out with them today so I can get all of this done.

when im a parent i won’t take my kid’s electronics when they get in trouble i’ll just take the charger so i can watch the fear in their eyes as they use it less and less while the battery slowly begins to run out

Smart parenting.

This is exactly what my parents did to me. They also took my car battery. Left me the car and keys with no way to use it.

150 days of Keto

Day 3
I found an amazing website to calculate macronutrients for ketosis.
The sugar cravings are already starting to subside.
I was back up to 181lbs, but water weights already flushed and I’m back down to 175.
I’m about to start prepping this weeks lunches, every bit of prep helps stay on track.

The biggest obstacle to creativity is attachment to outcome. As soon as you become attached to a specific outcome, you feel compelled to control and manipulate what you’re doing. And in the process you shut yourself off to other possibilities
